    Folks must realize the steps in place are being done to ensure we dont turn into the next Italy. Further, by doing this, we're able to keep essential businesses open. Keep the pipeline of goods flowing. Ya know, the stuff we absolutely need. No doubt the impact on businesses will be massive.

    From a sports perspective and in my own view, the postponement of the Masters was the biggest call so far. If theres any place that can provide isolation for its players, its Augusta National. If they're taking this seriously, you take notice.

    Blackwater yesterday. Had a blast on the sled run w my daughter.

    Seeing lots of ski talk....you need to look into heli-skiing the Chugach. Some of the best spots in the world and even low elevation spots like Thompson and Turnagain Passes avg insane amounts. Some of the interior terrain at higher elevations avg > 1k. Was just up that way earlier this month and stopped by Alyeska. Snow was deep.

    Time to dig out the sunscreen and beach gear for the week of 10th. Fugly. I mentioned to ian yesterday on twitter that DCA hasnt had AOA december snowfall in a decade, but would be nice to see something, anything remotely promising on the horizon.

    Really don't think the events are close at all. The area of 20-30" was much greater in 96.

    My personal top 5 is now: 1/96: was in southern PA with 3' totals and massive drifts. I'll most likely need to move to the country before experiencing this again. 2/10 part I 1/16 2/03 2/10 part II

    This is great. It was a lot of fun staying up Friday night talking w folks here as the band's kept moving into the area from the se. Some of those bands were really great.

    BWIs top 10 is now all 20"+ snows. That's solid.
