  2. He's sitting at about 20" below normal for the season and snow out there is a big deal for winter $$$$.

  5. I'll be in stewartstown tmrw, so hoping that's the case.
  6. Eric Horst's map seems realistic for the area. An inch (maybe 2) along the MD line then pingers.
  7. Still wouldnt be surprised if folks are pinging soon after initial flakes.
  8. I haven't seen all forecasts, but WBAL seems to be on an island w theirs. 2-4 for the northern areas looks aggressive unless we're talking north of york/harrisburg.
  9. So much petty snark on the board for what looks to be nothing more than a nuisance event.
  10. Just finished a 20 mile bike ride. What a day out there....
  11. Tried to tell you all that there'd be a sneaky warm layer and you'd wake up to pingers. So much for your 6-10".
  12. You almost have to hope this is a complete fail just to enjoy the meltdowns on the board later.
  13. Let's worry that the bust is gonna bust. Also, if cold is around, give me 10 2" storms. That's 3 each in dec/jan/feb and 1 to cap off the season in march. I'll reconsider if we're getting more than 20 in a season.
  14. Snowing nicely in canaan right now.
  15. I'm heading to Alaska the first week in February. Selfishly, I hope it's a torch here if it improves chances of me getting some winter conditions while I'm up there. If it's in the 70s next wknd, I'll take advantage and go for a long cycle. F this winter.
  16. still struggling to understand why anyone was even thinking about it to begin with myself.
  17. Time to dig out the sunscreen and beach gear for the week of 10th. Fugly. I mentioned to ian yesterday on twitter that DCA hasnt had AOA december snowfall in a decade, but would be nice to see something, anything remotely promising on the horizon.
  18. Really don't think the events are close at all. The area of 20-30" was much greater in 96.
  19. My personal top 5 is now: 1/96: was in southern PA with 3' totals and massive drifts. I'll most likely need to move to the country before experiencing this again. 2/10 part I 1/16 2/03 2/10 part II
  20. I thought they lowered 2/5/10. Had no idea 12/09 was lowered.
  21. This is great. It was a lot of fun staying up Friday night talking w folks here as the band's kept moving into the area from the se. Some of those bands were really great.
