Over time, being north and west pays off more often than not. Having spent a decade living about 10 minutes north of mappy, more often than not, I received more snow on average than those on the wrong side of the fall line. Especially in marginal situations and with coastals.

FWIW, HRRR still showing a lull before backend precip moves through late afternoon and finally exiting the area in the 02-04Z timeframe.

Not even sunrise yet and the HOA contractor is already plowing and shoveling the neighborhood. The worst ob possible.

We go through this every season. Folks have visions of high ratio fluff, but it takes perfect conditions to pull off. It’s never easy and it’s not all about surface temps like so many believe.
