Has that two band idea. Not a fan of anything outside those bands given temps.

I think a narrow area could do well. But as you can see from hi res models, there is some disagreement where these bands set up. So it’s possible someone gets an inch of slop, and 10 miles away gets triple.

Sometimes those can be better because it doesn’t shove all the cold and the PV to Vancouver lol. Those exotic blocks we all crave can do that which opens up for December all over again. I know it’s not always like that, but some of the models have shown that.

Might cut back on temps being borderline especially to start but hills above 500’ look good. Haven’t had the chance to look at soundings.

Yeah I saw. Unfortunately I think it will struggle to get near 32 unless we can cold drain better.

Yeah usually models aren’t quick enough to bring it further SE. Definitely related to some ageostrophic processes and the meso low.

Will be dependent on QPF and temps. Tough to really say. If you want more than an inch of sleet I’d like to see temps less than 32 and a solid half inch qpf.

Wonder if it’s omega related because it was juicer there too.
