Sometimes those can be better because it doesn’t shove all the cold and the PV to Vancouver lol. Those exotic blocks we all crave can do that which opens up for December all over again. I know it’s not always like that, but some of the models have shown that.

Might cut back on temps being borderline especially to start but hills above 500’ look good. Haven’t had the chance to look at soundings.

Yeah usually models aren’t quick enough to bring it further SE. Definitely related to some ageostrophic processes and the meso low.

Will be dependent on QPF and temps. Tough to really say. If you want more than an inch of sleet I’d like to see temps less than 32 and a solid half inch qpf.

Well my reaction and others from the 6z run was more about seeing the inevitable ticks north that happen with these 99.5% of the time. I don't think it was an overreaction since all guidance had this. And one 12z GFS run won't really change my mind lol.
