It's not for that reason. Look at the Cape last week. The cold front stalls and the best forcing is out west. As it moves east, temps aloft warm and you start to move away from the upper level support which runs parallel to the front. Late tomorrow night ans Sunday they'll be a hell of a cluster tickling the Cape or just offshore.
