  1. It can help...I guess for me, Id'want to be near and S of the front in this one. Sometimes hail is a bigger threat N of the front if you get good elevated CAPE. But this setup is the balls if you are in that area.
  2. Not with those temps..lol. This isn't like KS where you actually get CAPE just north of the WF.
  3. NAM went south. More like far SW CT. That's the worry. We wedge.
  4. It's a good look, but you need to keep an eye where the WF is. Technically it doesn't even sector Tolland. But SW CT looks good.
  5. It’s close. Nam would be more south. Would rather see front in NH.
  6. NAM is really interesting. Not sure I can remember such rapid WAA and rapid destabilization like it shows.
  7. Still a lot of work to be done in the MDR. We have TUTTS, dry air, shear etc. The globals are fairly quiet.
  8. Is it east of the river too?
  9. I want to talk snow and preferably storms that screwed Kevin.
  10. Yeah that's always good..although not realistic where I am. I just want opportunities. I don't need to jack...just want to have some fun with events.
  11. Please be snowy. That is all.
  12. 08-09 is one of my favorite seasons. It's not like we had 100+", but for this area I think we ended up near 75" give or take, with a most of that in Dec and Jan. That was a fun season. I still remember the RUC nailing that 2 part Jan event.
  13. That will be welcomed. Even if winter ended early like some typical Ninas...I'll take a snowy December and January.
  14. Yeah I meant just for this local area. I know it was pretty bad up by ORH into srn NH. I hope for my mental health sake, that it's a decent winter.
  15. 18-19 was close to normal, I think a hair above with that big early March dump...but yeah it didn't feel like it. Lots of torchy periods. Last year was a true ratter. Early December had some fun, but outside of that...it was pure vomit. Last year as far as snow goes, was the first solid BN season since 11-12 here. That is quite a stretch.
  16. More winter voodoo-casts. I dunno...I'm feeling a meh one...but only because I'm on the regression train. Doesn't have to be a dud, maybe near normal.
  17. Ugh 06-07. Only interesting thing that winter, were the flowers coming up in Jan.
  18. Funny thing is that it could be fairly snowy for you. Oranges at 500mb with your location aren't a bad thing. Even here, it was Bengal Tigers and Parakeets at 500mb in December 2007 and we got lit. It would help to have a big confluence area well to our NE...almost like a massive +NAO on roids with the dateline ridging.
