  1. That was a huge stretch for higher el of NNE down through the Catskills.
  2. I actually rode the line on a few storms at my current location in '10-'11...but sign me up. Just wish it didn't shut off after Ground Hog Day.
  3. Nah we want to be buried into March. Then 80 in Napril. Not too much to ask.
  4. You’re in a good spot. Decent CAD and still do well in synoptic events and catch upslope at the same time. You live in a good spot. I know Jspin is probably the ultimate weenie spot that acts like it’s the base of Stowe, but consider yourself fortunate.
  5. Even up where I am in Lake Winni.....we get screwed by the Ossipees. Brian Even does better being further south. But up there it’s just CAD city.
  6. It’s not just the thaws, it’s flurries and 2-5” snows. I couldn’t take that knowing 20 miles East is getting smoked. Yeah it would be wintry compared to here, but yeesh....I’d rather rain than see the atmosphere choke on dendrites while 20 miles away gets 18”.
  7. Maybe that’s close enough to the high terrain to avoid major downsloping. Otherwise if I cared for the property and saw what Alex had for snow and I had flurrries and dim sun, I’d likely set it on fire.
  8. I'll wait until a low stalls north of Caribou. I think that is upslope sweet spot even for you.
  9. I'll use my coupon that I have for the Feb '10 jack. I assume they don't expire?
  10. Oh man, Ryan and Tippy melt on that storm there. LOL.
  11. 10-11 was good everywhere outside of the cape. We pray, but we doubt.
  12. I was thinking that. Wonder if that would have been Kevin. Ugh, Jan was brutal. Rapid build up of snow NW of 90/128 interchange. Rapid depression to the SE of that.
  13. BOS was BN for snow January 03.
  14. '14-'15 had areas south of BOS 4 out of 5 months if you include November. Too bad December '14 was a clunker.
  15. I think it's the old belief that hurricanes throw heat energy into the NAO domain. I remember that was the belief awhile back. I feel like that is more myth vs truth. Nina's always have more tropical activity and usually aren't conducive for blocking in that area given faster mid latitude flow. Not to say it couldn't happen...but just speaking on climo.
  16. And Jerry, good luck with retirement! I expect good measurements this winter....you'll have all the time in the world. LOL.
  17. I know a lot of the country was warm, but we had our own weenie pocket.
  18. The methodology looked to be temps, than precip. Not sure if that is the best way to gauge.
  19. That’s right!! Lol. I forgot about that.
  20. I know a real life story about Spacey....that dude....oooof.
  21. Right? I mean how do people (and lots of them) believe this crap? It just seems like those that do, are uncomfortable with the status quo and want someone to blame and something to believe in.
  22. It's especially bothersome when it is people close to you. I look at them and go...."What the **** happened to you?"
