I think one day this weekend could be mild, but that front is close. Could be near 60 one day and 30s the next while it’s furnacing aloft. It does look like the the Pacific gets a little better afterwards, but until we get more ridging onto the west coast, we’ll be prone to these mild spells. This is why some blocking would be nice.

Ok well looking ahead, we have Scandi ridging finally developing. It also looks like the PV finally gets stretched and is not concentric anymore. That’s usually a sign things are going on above. Sometimes Scandi ridging helps get that process started.

No I’m trying to save you and everyone else from rushing to the nearest tall object. We are probably in a good position with this one as far as modeling goes.
