  1. Bigger front end so it didn't matter really for you.
  2. That's a nice pike band I think.
  3. Here’s another thing to think about. The initial burst may come in with quite a thump. I know we talk about mid-level magic, but there seems to be a good warm advection push even in the snow growth areas which are fairly far to the south. It might be one of those things, where the mid-level magic just consists of some bands of light maybe moderate snow to the north of the track, after the initial burst.
  4. Soundings have good lift in the DGZ too. That would be nice in low elevations wherever that band sets up. There probably would not be a huge diff from low elevation to high elevation in that band.
  5. I could see the Nam. Maybe more where Kevin is, but I’m sort of thinking high elevation pike north right now as best areas. Maybe euro will be right, but I could see a bump north.
  6. I forgot we had a system about 6 years ago to the date that dropped snow. I had 0.7"...latest I can recall. I don't remember the late April '87 deal.
  7. NAM finally ticked colder. If 12z ticks colder, than I know where we stand. The EPS is still pretty cold, so I'm not sure how much this can go north?
  8. Still looks similar to last night I think. They'll be a narrow area where it comes down good, and then we'll see if it can wrap up with a little mid level magic to end.
  9. We never had the gypsies here locally. I did see areas not far away near the Blue Hills with damage, but not bad here. Yeah the 80s were bad. We had areas where I grew up, that were bare. You could hear the gypsy poop falling on leaves and sounding like rain.
  10. I could care less in mid April lol. Just give me sun so everyone is outside.
  11. I think Will summed it up. It’s going to depend on intensity for low elevations. I think we’ll see some snow, but unsure of any accumulation. It could also go to crap and move north.
  12. I dug out my fence posts yesterday that rotted, so I can replace them. I was shocked to see how much water was there. This yard dries out quick, too. My guess is either the ledge or clay is causing water to sit on top of it and just slowly drain.
  13. Might be squally tomorrow. Cold air aloft with that April sun. Probably dip n dots and flakes for many. Tonight is a fairly vigorous s/w too. Might be a decent band of snow accompanying it.
  14. There is a decent airmass with this. Light S winds ahead of it, but decent cold going for this just off the deck.
  15. Almost tries to curl up a little CCB at the end there. Nice looking system for this time of year.
