I put mine on a post, but just keep grass under it. All I did was reseed a bit around where I dug. Mulch could locally cause some slight warming on a calm day.
It’s just a lot of work in winter. In summer, nothing to worry about except food. I’ll give you that. But as far as risk mitigation, it’s much easier in summer.
They did way better Eversource. UI had more crews on standby. Eversource just said they were not prepared. I saw a comparison for New Haven County between UI and Eversource. Wasn’t even close.
Basically not prepared and also statewide. Not a good combo. But when looking at the outage maps. Adjacent MA and RI counties looked much better. The wind just didn’t stop there either.
