Sandy got an ET boost. With this going into cooler waters and looking like crap with limited ET boost, I don’t see this getting much stronger. That’s all.
Jay go to the south shore. They lose power for days in every blizzard lol. A lot of it due to heavy wooded areas. CT is also heavily wooded and that just adds to the issue with 60mph winds and foliated trees.
The model strength of the ULL and how far it digs down and also strength intensity. I think if the storm is stronger it may help it get tugged west due to the mid and upper level flow helping to steer the storm along path of least resistance.
Not sure convective allowing models are good for TCs. The same models in 2015 that PF used to bring snow as he rocked back and forth violently with Heady Topper in hand.
