  1. 12z EPS also made a shift to the slightly more interesting scenario.
  2. I enjoy every minute of it, but who doesn't want some more, especially with this cold around and the relaxation approaching.
  3. Euro op and AI close to something decent around here early Saturday.
  4. Maybe it waffled a bit, but then for days it did not like it much.
  5. Moving to warmer phases now. So the pattern change makes sense.
  6. and beyond. Obviously an op run but danger is there.
  7. GFS says to start working on fantasy baseball drafts.
  8. Followed by a Valentines Day massacre on the GFS. Lets flood.
  9. Fropa and arctic winds on the gfs for Ray.
  10. Snow doesn’t melt ice. It insulates it. You can’t still build ice, but not like if there was no snow.
  11. That won’t be possible with the airmass. You’ll need the -NAO unless you want rain.
  12. Yeah, I wouldn’t say the flow’s been fast, but we haven’t had the most pristine ridges because we’ve had these little short waves breaking through and that kind of screws it up for our region for whatever reason. But overall, it’s been a good Pacific.
  13. Preaching to the choir. I don’t get off on cold stats so for me it’s frustrating. It took a low ramming into an arctic dome to bring the biggie but we can’t get a coastal for whatever reason.
  14. Looks like after this weekend we can safely say the real cold is done. Temps moderate and then we’ll be at the end of the month with climo rising.
  15. I am more in the nrn part of Weymouth. I saw on here Pembroke with 3” and my folks had that in Marshfield. Not sure where the Pembroke report exactly is, but my parents are near the Pembroke line of Marshfield, just north of the rt3 and 139 interchange.
  16. They were ice fishing here in December but January two week thawed thinned it out in some areas.
  17. They were ice fishing on the Charles River yesterday too. Just saying what I heard in SNH. Snow insulates.
  18. Those maps are great. Nice job you guys do there.
  19. Half inch here. Pembroke/Marshfield 3”. 2” Duxbury. 2.5” Gloucester and Rockport.
  20. Last weekend the ice here was just starting to thicken safely after the first two weeks of warmth. But then the snow came to insulate it. I know even the ponds in SNH had slush at the bottom of the snowpack.
