I still have the recording of it pitch black with my phone up to the screen and window open. Freaking jet engine. It was after peak too.

We usually go camping around that time, but one of the guys has a friend with a house on the Saco. May just rent it and go canoeing. We used to go there and on the Androscoggin, but haven't recently.

Supposed to have a mantown weekend in Fryeburg on the Saco later this month. Will there even be water in it?

PVD to the Cape has had the best storms this season, which is not saying much lol. Although we had a hell of a storm a few weeks ago nearby.

It's not for that reason. Look at the Cape last week. The cold front stalls and the best forcing is out west. As it moves east, temps aloft warm and you start to move away from the upper level support which runs parallel to the front. Late tomorrow night ans Sunday they'll be a hell of a cluster tickling the Cape or just offshore.
