    We've had more, just noting that particular one. But I typically yawn at anything under 60. Give me 70+. Kind of tough here to top Oct 2021 for wind. That was NE not NW.

    Yeah, I think that was 2008. There were tons of water spouts over Narragansett Bay.

    NAM was never really enthused which was a red flag.

    Nw flow deals are good inland too because usually it’s CAA winds mixing down. Yeah east can be better due to pressure gradient, but it’s better than banking on strong NE winds over the interior.

    We’ve had a few NW flow deals that I can recall that really did some damage. There was one I think in Nov 2004. Heck in Jan this year we had one after fropa that did damage here.

    It’s not fraudulent, but there’s a reason high end is on the rare side especially inland.

    Hopefully cutters for Thanksgiving and Christmas week ski season.

    Probably 45-55 there. Maybe a gust near 60 here.

    They’ll be a burst of strong winds near coast but lost high end potential. Meh. Maybe we get convection

    That’s about what a typical “in my backyard” SNE person sees every 30 years. So STFU.

    This is not even close to 12/9/05. GHG had 70+. This is a seabreeze compared to that.

    I’m not saying there won’t be strong winds, but the higher end stuff at least at 18Z definitely backed off. by the way, I know you talked about the possible tornadoes in Southeast mass, but there was big-time wind damage in certain spots. I saw a picture at Bourne and there was also tons of trees flattened.

    You probably have had 6 tornadoes within a 8 mile radius since mehing weather from 2024 on. Including last night.

    18z GFS backed off too. Time to cancel.

    I know but things like orientation of the low when the LLJ swings by matter. 50-55 at 925 vs 65kts is bigly difference. Hopefully 00z is damaging.
