It pains to say it, but this area especially is due for a correction. Although our SD for snowfall is more wild, a 20-25% increase in snowfall avg over the last 20 years or so, is destined to fall. Unless this is a brief new climo normal before Tip's Hadley Cell devours us all.

"raises hand" Powder blowing off roofs during the day on 10/30. Mangled shards of frozen ass struggling at 34F during the evening of 2/1. At the time I was just of the attitude of "well I'm due," but now that time has gone by, it just really sucked.

Well as climo goes it ramps up at least. But yeah, a dip in the means could signal continued troughing.

Definitely some signs it turns warmer after the 18th or so. But nothing summer like I’d say. In any case, cool and wet perhaps until then. Sunny days should be decent with May sunshine, but in and up ftl as a trough parks overhead.

Yeah, if this craze continues after it drops maybe I'll educate myself more and throw play money at it. Nobody needs to get butthurt from what I said...it's more of a comment about how insane this is. It seems like it's at a high point and not worth getting into it, but on the other hand...the overall trend line likely is for it to keep going up?

It's not meant in that way, obviously. It's like hoping for a tornado to rip shit up. You don't want to see the lives of people get torn upside down. It's just the principle of it.

Even after next week the warmth is west leaving a dip over the northeast. We should get these troughs out of here, but that look is prone to doors.

It’s May 5 with like 1.4” already for the month. I think we’re ok for now.

Looks like 0.14" last night. Best was in areas that got yesterday.
