    I never had the wind drop until late day. I bet if winds were lighter we all would have had 30-35 LOL. The bottom 6” of snow is packed in good.

    Back to narrow streets here. Would be nice if they didn’t have some guy in a pick-up do it.

    It may not be a favorable jack spot, but he does well with retention. I also think it’s an unlucky stretch even considering what I said. For instance he kept that crusty 1” pack for days and had it through Christmas. Later this week he may get ice while the rest of us rain. So there are advantages.

    I tried and reluctantly agreed to 26.5”. The wind just made it impossible to measure. But then I see comments and pics in a local FB page of near 30”. Lol. It was a hell of a storm. Sometimes I try to use radar and rates to help determine. From 11:30 to 1pm I noticed we had about 6” fall. That was a good proxy to gauge through late aftn. I didn’t clear at all. If I did, it would have blown over and filled in the area I shoveled out.

    Those conditions earlier reminded me of the final band in January 05, but this lasted hours. I don’t recall the last time we had conditions like that with those temps, wind, and rates of snow.

    The wind is just nuts here. Makes it hard. Maybe I’ll drive to more sheltered areas.

    I think 26-28. Blue hills had 2’ and they were west of the best stuff.
