Well lol a 1 billion dollar disaster to your east wasn't a nuthing burger. Some incredible damage. Nature of tropical systems, you are on the east side of a extratropical transitioning former hurricane . Pay attention as things could go down quick in spots

Pretty much a LLJ jet issue here as many have pointed out. The transitioning core will go up the Hudson Valley.

Yea Watch Hill Lighthouse would be my pick for an observation area. If Hunchie had gone to the Andrea he wouldn't have a beach to lay on as the tide should be up to the dunes. Full moon goon

Sting jet is at base of low which is to your west.

High SSTs, moist environment, amazing how similar the water temps and summer were to 2011. It was those outer bands that nailed us. Totally different setup but similar mixing. April’s event and Oct 17 both had more mixing than expected. Hopefully it stays less mixed.
