    700K plus were out yikes We have 100s of crews working across CT to restore power after Tropical Storm Isaias caused widespread, historic damage to the electric system. As of 10 a.m., crews have restored power to more than 100,000 customers since the storm began and ~617,000 remain without power.

    Hazard pay, millions of essentials should have gotten it since March. They supported us when we were locked down. Interesting that some are able to demand it while most have no say.

    lol my yard was like that,my poor neighbors though, yikes. I offered help but they were all set with a contractor and are staying at a friend's. Nice people new to the hood.

    I took Met classes at URI but went into Environmental Science. Interned with the state Climatologist though. I partied hard too but went back as an older student and nailed the math stuff. Just a matter of effort I guess.

    ? They have been putting power poles up in my neighbor hood all summer banging them out. Didn't see a mask on anyone. I mean being in a bucket truck is a one man job. No one I saw today outside chainsawing, town, tree companies, was worried about covid it seemed.

    Cleaned my pool from massive debris,fuk it, just gonna 5 o'clock somewhere today. Cleaned up the big branches and tried to rescue the garden. Storms are stressful, time to destress.

    Yes looking around its a mess. Fukin great. Eversource is under the gun for their humongous rate increase and their lack of infrastructure investment while their CEO and board rake millions. This is going to be interesting. All the WFH peeps now with political connections will turn up the heat.

    Not true all the time but you can see that often in Baro traces as it bounces around with wind pressure changes during high wind events. Notable if you follow it. You should put your station online.

    Think we had the stinger jet in the dry slot or a gravity wave. Nice pressure rise fall couplet here. Biggest winds and damage at this time. The scream of the wind and seeing 100 ft trees bent in half was crazy. I wish I had a tree top anemometer some times lol
