2 full moons in October. Figures our favorite big storm time at the end of October is full moon but its the new moon tides that are very high this month.Sept 19th new moon tides are very high. That coincides with modeling currently showing a classic East Coast setup for tropical trouble.

Its definitely time for a total infrastructure overhaul. That will fill the gap with better paying jobs. Now that the military has been reinforced and we have gotten out of endless wars that extra money should be reinvested in our infrastructure. Manufacturing of all the products and labor to install . Positive things can and should happen. We all hope we can turn the corner to better brighter days.

Yea wood laminate is great. All our floors outside bathrooms are now thick laminate with waterproof underlayment.

Nice Jeff. I had a new roof put on in 2011, went to propane in 2014. Slowly upgrading everything as needed. Completely new rooms downstairs, converted attached 2 car garage to a grooming room for my wife. Large 25 by 20 bedroom finished this year with new floors, ceilings, trim and my wife and her friend who is a lady did the entire job by themselves. Well I supervised and ordered all the materials. She wanted to do it, her first construction project ever. Came out spectacular.

I am not going to lie, put on a flannel shirt at 6am when I was out with the dogs lol, shorts, flip flops and a flannel shirt. Good thing no one can see the weird old man in the hood.

I loved this summer minus Izzy. Being able to enjoy it definitely helps. I was always about working as much as possible to support my family, as are you, and I respect you immensely for that, but I got to tell you once the pressure was off, I am a new man, feel like a teenager again mentally, just wish I had that body back lol.

Just a perfect day wxwise unfolding. Men in suits taking cover shots for the Chambers annual magazines everywhere. Labor day weekend looks spectacular as well. We end August on a high note. On to September

Today is the anniversary of Hurricane Carol 1954. One of the few pure tropical storms to hit us. One thing I never knew until yesterday was that the storm was exceptionally poorly forecast and came as a complete surprise. That morning all forecasts had it going way out to sea.
