  1. I can't imagine living in AC on nights like this. The air is so clean and fresh. I can hear the owls calling, a fox was just yelping probably to her cubs. Absolutely a top ten day noon and night. We take
  2. On the average, Vermont has 200-400 forest fires per year but the average size is only 11/2-2 acres burned. Nearly 50% of these fires are started by debris burning that is failed to be contained, according to northeastwildfire.org. https://mountaintimes.info/killington-forest-fire/
  3. Yea 15 million for me lol. Play money will just let it sit until someday maybe my kids are getting a nice gift
  4. Man do you live in a tent? Do you let the afternoon sun bake your upstairs? Damn didn't break 73 all day inside here. Was 66 when I woke up in the house this morning
  5. Exactly and a fan will cool feel likes way down, moving air is how we do it. When dews hit 70 consistently then we AC, usually late June
  6. Lol 74/45 geezuz dude you would die down south. You probably live in AC all summer and then wish for HHH. It’s weird behavior
  7. Duct tape might as well go all hillbilly
  8. Dry ground makes dews rise. Lol I mean you can't make it up.
  9. There is definitely a science to HVAC. For best economic results moving air internally at the same rate in all rooms keeping equal temps is critical. Knowing when and where to allow light in and where to shutter sunlight is important. My high temp on my house last summer was 75 degrees as recorded on my weather station. My electric bill usage hasn't changed much in the last 5 years since the kids grew up. Being home more in 2020 actually decreased my summer usage as I was able to move air as the day progressed.
  10. This one is fantastic. No obstructed views out the window. Allows more light in. You should upgrade from your ugly 1990 window bulky unit.
  11. 10 years ago lol. You are so stuck in the 90s in your thinking at all levels.
  12. Lol no son I have not. Why would I ? 80 for a couple hours? I can't believe what I just read , dry ground raises dewpoints, lol geezuz
  13. Thats odd, my bill has been less since we converted to floor units. I am going out on a limb and saying they didn't know how to use ceiling fans and move air throughout the house. I love them
  14. Yep rolls out of the closet plug and go. Wont need them though. Spectacular nights with low dews and warm days. Drawn up for the men in suits.
