I am practically around the corner from you, but just a mile or two made a difference for us. I’m straddling that green and yellow. I hope all of Eastern Hoco gets some reds today though.
I’m just west of you on the Elkridge/Columbia line. Wondering if this hits me head on at some point. I might consider jumping in the car though to get some good pictures too.
eta: looking at radar, that storm is in no hurry to go anywhere fast. I could see it easily missing east at this point.
If it’s going to ruin my outdoor chillin on the deck plans, might as well monsoon it! Looks like some slow movers. You, me, and @WxUSAF seem to be in a good spot.
Had to go just west. Took my daughter on our first storm chase. She manned the radar and was a great co-pilot. Down to Long Gate on rt 100, back to Long Reach HS. Poured on and off. Weak lightning though. Total meh. Just home. Not a fricking drop here. Hope more is coming tonight that hits. Now back to some Cushwa Double IPA.
I’m pumped! Maybe a good night for a Jebwalk in the rain...if I want to struck by lightning. I do once again love overnight storms. Soooooo soothing...
Radar is back building. I love it. Pretty juiced out to the west. Nothing better than the sounds of some night storms to fall asleep to. Hope we can do this again tomorrow.
