    Just woke up to get a glass of water. It’s like 1/4 mile vis +SN.

    Yeah like I said earlier I think middle of nowhere NW Hillsborough up through Merrimack get croaked. We’re fringed on the south end. Enough fringe to break double digits? Possible for sure but I’m not super confident.

    I was mostly just trolling @STILL N OF PIKE but that does sound fun. I’ve hiked some of the Wapack but haven’t snowshoed out there.

    I was pretty pessimistic this morning but the runup to the event is looking more promising locally. Still a bit fringed and still think the subby holes will be real, but we should get into the goods a little. I think a place like Antrim NW of here is really going to clean up. I could see the hinterlands of NW Hillsborough County scoring 12-18'' of pure powder.

    Was just gonna say it looks like the H7 low skirts the south coast of CT and RI before heading northeast. That's a good look for here.

    No I agree that you can go to snow grains when the lift is weak and below the DGZ. I just don't see that happening in that example.

    I mean it's maxing at like -5C around H7....I think the p-type algorithm is just garbage.

    It's better for kids to play in the snow instead of staring at the screen for a day.

    Not going to lie, I think a broad brush 10-18''+ from Lincoln to North Haven is a little weenieish.

    Yeah. Guess I'm thinking 5-10'' around here but kind of expecting to end up closer to the lower end of that range. Hard sell on 10''+.

    That snow hole that keeps showing up on guidance is undoubtedly a real feature. I’m taking the under on double digits where it sets up, and I have a pretty good idea where that’s going to be.

    Area in between forcing mechanisms. ML fronto to the left of us, conveyor belts to the right, here we are stuck in the middle with subby.

    Dendrite went from rooting for cirrus to probably ripping 20:1 fairy dust. Models pretty consistent with the Merrimack Valley screw zone now. Happens.

    One thing I like about the weenie maps is they highlight the different areas of forcing a lot better than coarse QPF graphics.

    I hope we ticky tick south to get into the better H7 fronto banding. We're not getting into the WCB. As things stand I'm going 4-8'' here. Hope to squeak out a warning event but I can see a scenario where we just subsidence struggle our way to 4-5'' of dense sand.

    These weather forums go back years. Nothing is personal. I've been a part of them since like 2008 or 2009, been to a get together and met a bunch of the people posting in this thread in person, and I still feel like a newbie.

    At least we were never teased by 18-24'' NWS clown maps in the lead up. Hell we're looking better than we were a day or two ago.
