At what point is a devil with a pitchfork running around included in the graphics? I was going to say 110 but on second thought, isn't 110 pretty common? I hope we will stay comfy here for a few more weeks before the heat and humidity kick in and stay on for the next three months or more.

Couldnt find a definitive answer, but Phoenix averages somewhere around 15 days over 110 each year.

Wow, if the GFS is on to something we are going to have a most excellent end to Spring over the next two weeks.  A persistent trough, filled with Vorts that keep rotating down over or above us, keeps temps more than in check, well BN, and on and off chances of light rain.  There are a couple chances for frost but other than that, wow.  Love if it comes close to right.   Suck it Western US.

    Ugh...that sounds so depressing...

This will be gone next run but wow, highs in the low 40's in mid to late May.  THAT is super anomalous.

Not that I'm reveling in it, but it would be fitting that after such a mild, snowless winter, you'd get such shitty late spring weather.

Unlike Friday's stratiform coverage of rain, today there were numerous bands oriented south to north. Shoot, MDT had nearly 1" of rain before the first drops fell here. You and I are not the only ones under 1" for the day.

Like I said, the current south to north band is just dumping on Tamaqua.

2.57" today, and 3.70" for the event now.

Your wind goes from NE to SW to West to North to NE to SW.  Interesting.

Yeah, it's like that out here. Definitely different. Even the thunderstorms. The monsoon storms will often times move north to south or east to west. They form over the mountains and then get drawn down into the desert by the intense heat.

I’ve enjoyed your Jeep off road videos. You missed out some good PA trails!

Thanks! I can't wait to do Schnebly Hill and Broken Arrow in Sedona. The scenery will be fantastic! There's literally hundreds, if not thousands, of free trails out here due to the amount of free public land.

49 degrees at 12:10pm. This is the spring high school sports weather I remember for many years in the past.

Yes I remember track practice and the track meets with this kind of weather. I remember freezing during the practice sessions in jr.high and high school at Milton Hershey. That cold wind was nasty in the open down there.

When I was doing newspaper photography I froze more doing spring sports than fall sports.
