Your wind goes from NE to SW to West to North to NE to SW. Interesting.
Yeah, it's like that out here. Definitely different. Even the thunderstorms. The monsoon storms will often times move north to south or east to west. They form over the mountains and then get drawn down into the desert by the intense heat.

Thanks! I can't wait to do Schnebly Hill and Broken Arrow in Sedona. The scenery will be fantastic! There's literally hundreds, if not thousands, of free trails out here due to the amount of free public land.

49 degrees at 12:10pm. This is the spring high school sports weather I remember for many years in the past.

When I was doing newspaper photography I froze more doing spring sports than fall sports.

Haha I moved for a reason. It used to never bother me playing football when it was 105 and humid af but the older I get the worst it does.
Funny how that works. The older I get, the more the cold bothers me.

Visit Louisiana then compare …
Louisiana has always been bad, but the section he's talking about on I-17, the top layer of blacktop has peeled off of the concrete base in big sheets for about 30 miles. It's an incredibly rough ride. So bad that ADOT temporarily dropped the speed limit 10 mph.

Voyager, I never thought I would see roads worse than Pennsylvania; then I drove on I-17. My god, if it wasn't a rental car I'd feel the need to get my suspension checked

I go up the there at least once a week. You should feel that section in a tractor trailer. But yes, Arizona roads (outside of Phoenix) are in much worse shape than in PA.

They have had 139.1" YTD. Good for 13th. Number 6 is 145.9" in 2019. Then it jumps to 164.2 in 1980 and all time is 184.4" in 1965.
They average 90.1" per year with it snowing 28 days on average. I think seven springs on averages 87.7" a year. It's elevation is 7,000ft. The ski resort 30 min north has base at 9,200, and lifts almost to 12,000. They still have a base depth of 123" and received 398" this winter.
Hell the day with highest average temperature here is right around July 4th, and it's 81.
When phoenix is upper 90s Monday here will be 68-72. But I'll be in Phoenix by then cause others like heat

Too bad I work on Monday. It'd be cool to meet a CPA board friend while out here.
