  1. Looks close for accumulation so borderline. I’d assume surface would be colder than 34 that guidance is showing with those heavy rates.
  2. 925 pretty warm looks like minus 1 to minus 2.. also surface temps will be 31-33 during with plenty of melting during the first few hours. This will 100% be paste sticking to everything. 2 inch over under of paste on my driveway at Sey-Mour Snow for a 6 pack of IPA’s for the winner? I take the over.
  3. I agree. Although last nights 18z run scored a major win with the SWCT snow threat tomorrow night . So hopefully it’s onto something with storm # 2.
  4. Ya the hills of interior Fairfield county look primed for 3-6” of paste.
  5. It will 100% stick to all roads if the band that gfs and euro are advertising develops. Remember I’m at 600’ here .. SWCT is very hilly a lot of haves and have nots.
  6. Glad we don’t live there, hills ftw. If it snows hard enough it’ll stick everywhere. Gfs has 7 hours of heavy rates.
  7. Holy crap gfs .. probably take half of this for most areas except highest hills.
  8. Rats gonna rat. The winter with no cold or snow but it sure was great at 500. I think plenty in this forum have a great chance for sig snow on Monday/Tuesday. Just need some things to go right for a change, but almost all the pieces are there for something special. Just gotta sit tight and let the models iron it all out.
  9. Well it matches the other NAM now. Leaves a lot to be desired but it’s the NAM lol .. if euro holds serve at 00z I’ll definitely be more interested. Wouldn’t hurt to see the gfs bump up some more too.
  10. Ya 3km is well north from 18z.. matches the 12km now. Bring a coating to 2” to SWCT only
  11. NAM cut back for the 4th consecutive run after the nice 00z last night.
  12. On weatherbell when you click on the compare to 12z button, 18z looks a good bit Nw of 12z.
  13. True and every single person on here knew it was 100% wrong. It was late picking it up, in fact it didn’t pick it up until euro let it go lol.. Sad performance by gfs.
  14. Seems like guidance is coming into agreement on some snow making it into SW areas Friday PM into Saturday AM with temps just cold enough and the bulk of it coming after sunset. Some areas may be able to sneak in an advisory snowfall. Something to track until Monday...
  15. Makes sense. I’ll start a new one. Good calls as always Tip with this thread.
  16. @ORH_wxman can we change this thread to Friday PM into Saturday snow threat for SW zones? Mostly to avoid confusion between the two threats.
  17. EPS has some big hits for everyone .. about 2" for SWCT on the mean for the weekend the rest is Monday Tuesday..
  18. We are now getting within day 5 on todays runs with starting impacts and redevelopment off the coast.. Storm likely somewhere.. Hopefully we can start zoning in on a general idea over the next 24 hours of runs..
