  1. Solar cover? As long as we get enough sunshine pools should be near 80 in the afternoons this week.
  2. 65 dbz with .75” hail sig showing up in Bethany earlier. @BuildingScienceWx took this pic on the other side of Seymour he was about a mile west from the most significant hail signature. Managed .15” of much needed non sprinkler water close to an inch on the other side of town in short order.
  3. I’m unusually high too for my elevation , hottest time of year. Weird normally I’m much cooler than BDL, already hit 89 here today with a 65 dew.
  4. Let’s hope that pans out. Euro actually brings a touch of humidity for southern areas days 7-10.
  5. Looks like those 2.5-3.5” amounts will verify in southern and central CT .. 91 corridor jack?
  6. 1.18” with the real heavy stuff coming next 4 hours ..
  7. GFS has turned ugly for Memorial Day Weekend. Torch gone with a cut off low bringing periods of rain and onshore flow for days.
  8. My pool was 73 yesterday, I tried to go in for a bit but it’s just too cold, when I was a kid that was no problem, not anymore prefer 80+. The pool should be in the low 80s without using the heater by Saturday, I might heat it to 90 and go it Saturday night.
  9. extremely frustrating, cant get a damn baseball in for the kids 5 of the last 6 rained out.. today borderline with the infield currently under water and no idea if another heavy shower is imminent
  10. They announced on twitter that they went on Discord
  11. It’s not been nearly as bad as advertised.. I haven’t had a full complete day washout yet, I know out east you did Sunday. Everyday has had at least half of the day with sun and temps around 60 which is great weather for work in the yard. Looks like this Saturday will be the first true washout .. however before that another great stretch of weather continues this week through Friday and maybe again Sunday if EURO has the right idea.
  12. 12z GFS is a bit wet from Saturday night into early next week..
  13. Well stein pretty much gone in CT. Widespread 3-4” of rain by the time this wraps up. Already 2.4” with plenty to go
  14. Ya it looks like mid winter up there in Tolland compared to the southern half of CT. 75% of full summer leaf out and the grass is thick and dark green. Wild difference.
  15. Widespread 82-87 obs around Bridgeport . Was zip lining on the Adventure course near Sacred Heart and it was hot! Not surprised to see the obs!
  16. Dews are 45-52.. 850s are rising from 15c up to 17c by late afternoon so ya that’s impressive enough to yield widespread 85+
  17. 72 already.. hrrr has 85-90 tomorrow for many. Probably going to sell that .. but 80s look likely..
  18. Ya major bust for you guys .. even here most of southern ct between 65-70 rather than 75-80..
  19. Guidance did a good job showing the warmer air busking up around the 84 corridor then moving SE .. 66 here now but 76-79 in spots around 84.
  20. 75 about 5 miles to my west … 61.9 here.. she’s coming ..
