It was much more impressive yesterday over CT as well, north country was always more impressive.

I think he means compared to yesterday it’s a let down, the better dynamics moved north where it verified pretty epic. This was a pretty average squall that we get a few times per year. Writing was on the wall starting late last night that it was moving north.

Looks like winter for a bit, ground has a coating temp dropped to 33 from 38.. Squall wrapping up, give it a C+/B- .. Awaiting the real wind.

Yes that's the strongest squall another batch about to enter Fairfield county is slowly ramping up .. First flakes now ..

I'd say average squalls developing just in time for a good chunk of CT from 84 south and east .. nothing as intense as what could of been but we will take, I'll keep you posted as the leading edgeg is about 10 min away

Yikes from that looks like nada for most of CT… One squall line south the others well north. Shoreline may actually get that jersey band ironically enough .. meso discussion out for New England

Oh nice, my son goes there sometimes with coach Tam for pitching. I’m about 1.5 miles West of there towards Oxford line. As you keep on going past zone nation you end up at the top of Great Hill you go right to to Botsford then I live around Mountain Rd .

This still looks impressive especially for areas in VT, NH as well as NE half of MASS.. Lost some luster down for CT as it may be a little later developer so I'm 50/50 on whether its just your run of the mill 15 minute snow squall or something better.

I have some friends there a lot of freezing rain with temps in teens and not much treatment on roads. The blizzard warning is like 10-20 miles Northwest for the Gorge.

Hrrr is wild getting even more amped for Sunday with multiple lines of intense snow squalls, almost turns into an MCS once it gets to NE MASS bringing a few inches along RT 2 north into CNE.

Agree the 19-20th has always been the higher ceiling setup than 16-17.. However, Ensembles were hitting 16-17 just as hard in the last 72 hours on both GEFS and EPS before becoming much more tame the past 24-36 hours on all guidance.. The theme continues to be for these signals to dampen the closer we get.
