    Heavy heavy coatings, fitting winter finale fit the seasonal trend for a joke of a winter. Onto Morch, I’m ready!

    Pretty meh, snowed good for an hour. Will be light to moderate the rest of the day. Coatings to an inch for most as expected, except NW CT. I’m in Southbury closing in on 1”.

    Impressed with temps mid to upper 20s moving in from the NW.

    Heavier band and mix line setting up and slowing east progression. Temp down 14 degrees in 90 min to 31. Accumulating to roads now.

    I’m at OXC for baseball practice. 2 min of sleet now heavy snow. Temp dropped from 45-32 in an hour.

    Yea definitely counting sleet on the leading edge of the changeover but still 3-4” rates it’s showing in the meat of the snow. Probably an hour or so of fun.

    Positive snow depth change doesn’t always work out though. That algorithm had only up to a coating of snow in parts of CT yesterday.
