  1. That's not storm total either, still 3-5 hours to go especially in northern CT.
  2. This is turning into a longer duration event as well. Guidance has this starting on Monday now with light freezing rain.
  3. No doubt would rather have that just don’t think we have much of a chance at snow and sleet south of the pike, seems like winter is fading fast, as tip said the February sun is getting strong!
  4. Storm vista always overdone . This seems more accurate in that setup
  5. we've gotten a half inch of ice accretion in central CT the past two winters, and that does plenty of damage, I don't think anyone in here wants to see 1" of ice even Kevin lol that would be very bad. I think ground zero will be a wide swath of .4 to .6" ice accretion.
  6. Most of the damage done by then too..
  7. Ya I just asked him where he is located and when the accretion started.
  8. He said 1-1.25" in the video and this euro forecast from last night showed just that, I wonder what town.
  9. 1.00" ice accretion for mount tolland.
  10. Euro seems more amped, but stronger high and better high placement.
  11. Yes we have gotten several in this area .25”+ since l’ve been on the board back in 2012.
  12. Ya great point about the high, that really should help not just for locking in cold but to enhance the snow rates. You can get some great snow rates in setups like this before the mix moves in (mix down here at least).
  13. +1.3" yesterday, +1.5" today. 47.8" on the season.
  14. True, just extra cautious this year, as some crazy things have happened in guidance close in.
  15. Yes I agree no guarantee on a significant storm as most storms have trended less amped and have been sheared by the time they get here. Just like the Sunday storm was supposed to be a classic SWFE now look at it.
  16. This didn’t look that impressive last night and looks even worse this morning, definitely looking at lower end of totals.
  17. ya its ever so slightly colder than 6z, advisory snow for most except extreme SE parts of CT, rhode island, mass, and cape and islands
