  1. I will take those euro amounts for Sat and run. Could be a wet, cool afternoon up here. GFS kicking its ass again.
  2. Probably not with a 5 min mean.
  3. Bone dry. Those Davis stations use Watermark soil moisture sensors. 200 centibars is the dry limit. 0cb is satuated. So 6" deep is very dry and 12" has a bit of moisture, but is still on the dry side. Usually you're supposed to pull them in the spring and reinsert them so that there's good contact between the sensor and soil. Freeze/thaw cycles can cause the soil to pull from the sensor with time.
  4. GFS is an SOS in NNE this weekend.
  5. Nice...that may be it. Looks like it's native so maybe I'll let it grow under the apple tree and see what the flowers eventually look like.
  6. Still haven't hit 90F at my place either. 89.3F max so far and that was late May.
  7. I doubt it trends that far SW leaving us with a heat plume like NNE just saw. I think if you want big heat next week you hope that that trough/ULL is more weak and progressive and scoots right along.
  8. Can’t even score the weenie appendage right now.
  9. Rich getting richer on radar.
  10. 75/65 Warm night with the mixing, but at least dews aren’t oppressive. Spahn, Sain, and pray for rain tomorrow.
  11. Just imagine if that 3” was snow. 150” for jspin with his ratios.
  12. Powderfreak rubbing in more VT rain.
  13. He was hooking up with the girls you’re with now.
  14. No big heat on the 12z euro next week. New England with its special sector of suck.
  15. All of the heat waves through 2018. https://www.weather.gov/media/btv/climo/extremes/heatwave.pdf
  16. A little like 2018 up there with 6 straight days...minus the big dews this time around though. Glad we didn’t live in BTV in 1944.
  17. I don’t fall for your all or nothing traps. Euro still hanging on for the weekend. Could be a warm night Sat night even if it’s just U80s/l90s during the day.
  18. My forecast is that the big heat will fail and you’ll hide in lurkerville for another week.
  19. Last night’s euro op backed it in for next week as well. So I lean that route, but probably a modified version of it.
  20. Hopefully 90F right through Feb.
  21. Euro pretty much caved to the GFS next week and will probably lose Saturday too. Went from 100s in CT for 7/1 at 12z to 70s at 00z.
  22. Yeah...dews and nights have been fairly meh. This heat has been tolerable. The swampazz amidst a rainy stretch is what gets me to finally install.
  23. GFS is cute for next week. Days and days of suck. Still not buying the weekend torch either.
