  1. Euro was a little overly dew crazy with the last warmup and it's the most humid again. Looks pretty damn muggy for a handful of days, but it'll probably back off toward the other models again a bit. Looks more swampy than hot this go around too. I'd rather take today over that anyday.
  2. Yeah the veins in the leaves are very close together. It’s spreading like a carpet.
  3. For instance, the sub 60° summer dew hours are fairly consistent whereas you would probably expect a drop off with >60° climbing. So I think the thing to take from these charts is a slow climb in dews with time and an increase in data points (more hourly obs).
  4. I will say there is probably more of a bias toward more hours in the ASOS era since obs are more reliable (automated) versus being sent out by human observers. There were frequent missed obs at hourly sites pre-automation. There was a period there between the 50s-70s where many sites only reported every 3 hours too…although those may be the groups of years “blued” out for too many missed obs.
  5. Phil Revere galloping from colonial town to colonial town searching for damage.
  6. 65° is creeping up there with plenty of August to go. 70° has no shot because of July.
  7. What is this nonsense? I don’t mind certain weeds, but this crap is taking over a section and is thick and wiping out all of the grass and clover in that area.
  8. 0.03” Enough to cool it off. Getting some breaks now and I assume this is the beginning of the CAA.
  9. Yeah…pushing through VT and eastern NY now. Will be through here mid afternoon.
  10. 75/69 here…not too bad out right now with overcast skies. I’ve only been 90+ 1 or 2x this year. People lived without AC for thousands of years. We can get by too.
  11. His climate is a little different from yours…especially with NW flow. Once mine are in, they’re in, but to each their own.
  12. Maybe…goes hand in hand with dews though. Except it’s a deeper humid airmass versus the shallow pooling types that mix out a bit in the afternoon and then muggy back up in the evening.
  13. Read this as crazy stupid dave at first…lol
