  1. I'd assume they'd want to keep the sites spaced out like you alluded to. Maybe FMH would be a good spot...they're manned at the coast guard air station already.
  2. Any plan to relocate the site? Maybe do them at BOX?
  3. One more day of winter and then it's speedos and tiki huts.
  4. It's a cold snowstorm once it flips. Rain and 40s after midnight in E MA and then snowing hard with mid 20s in the afternoon.
  5. Ugh that is a shitshow commute for a lot of the region Fri morning.
  6. GFS amped up. Rain to snow even up to Phin.
  7. Odds of the March max temp being warmer than April’s? I’ll go 25% this year.
  8. Well into the 60s starting Sunday. One more week of this nonsense.
  9. It does have a nice burst in E MA during the morning though and there’s a bit of a flash freeze. So it could still be impactful.
  10. I don’t think it’s telling us that. The algorithms are. Toss 10:1 in a rain to snow scenario.
  11. It actually started the afternoon on 3/13 and finished up during the morning on the 14th. Had about 18” of new snow depth in Auburn.
  12. Our senate wants this permanently. I can’t wait for it to be dark until 8am in January.
  13. Looks like a fresh layer of white this morning too. It’ll probably sublimate before it melts.
  14. 9.9/-3 Gusts to 30mph This is terrible. Can’t wait for the warmth to return next weekend.
  15. Yeah you have hours and hours of 1/8SM tarmac obs out there. Pretty impressive.
  16. It’s March. Nothing is growing. I want it bone dry right now if we’re not getting a foot of snow.
  17. 570dm on a day 9 ens mean for March.
  18. Yeah...we'll see how the EPS looks, but that's a monster trough building into the western US so at least there's some upper level support for a prolonged big warm up. We'll probably be under a trough on the 00z run though.
  19. Yeah...I will gladly suffer through this Monday if we can get that 7-10 day to verify.
  20. Temp steadily dropping with the CAA despite full sun. Down to 31F while spitting flurries from a few clouds. Another windy afternoon.
  21. Those are some healthy persistent squalls up north...especially that streamer cutting through Lincoln.
  22. I wish we were still changing them in early April. Still an earlier 00z euro for March (if necessary) and I like having my light at 6am. It's putting me back in the dark now as I leave for work.
