  1. Anyway 49.4° overcast and windy. Pretty miserable.
  2. Yup. That’s been the overwhelming theme the last 2 decades. Not going down the cc trap but… CO2 up Water vapor up Arctic warmer/less ice And so it all makes sense. More GHGs, more moisture in the air, more heat trapped, more clouds, more precipitation…more months with AN temps biased toward mins that seem cooler because of all of the clouds and precip.
  3. Legit fall feel this morning. Cloudy, breezy, sprinkles, u40s.
  4. I think the 2m 40s are overdone, but I still think it’s a lot of clouds, showers, and 50s to near 60. I just want some damn ridging and days of sfc highs even if it means 35° type mornings. I can’t take the clouds and frequent rain much more. This weather is making me radicalized.
  5. Awful is in the eyes of the beholder. It looks awful overall to me. ineedvitaminD will love it.
  6. The pattern interpretation would be a little different if this was DJF.
  7. Yeah we’ll DSD here and there and pull a couple of 70s, but it’s mostly tainted chill aloft dropping in from our N-NE, ULLs, and unsettled weather.
  8. lol…850s are like +5C or colder the rest of the month. Drink less.
  9. I wish AWATT was correct, but the pattern looks awful. A rando semi warm day mixed in to a week of crud isn’t my idea of a nice late May pattern but to each their own.
  10. I haven’t looked a lot. I’ve seen my usual on the feeders…rose breasted grosbeaks, catbirds, orioles, cardinals, etc. My robin is nesting in the garage again and the phoebe is in the run again too.
  11. Nah. 70s. But yeah, it’s shat. Get it out of the way now rather than JJA. I don’t want another summer 2009.
  12. Growing zone is all based on the winter mins. I mean there’s parts of BC Canada that are zone 9, but I wouldn’t call them FL.
  13. I’m still getting rain draining through the bird poop in my gauge. Up to 0.95”
  14. That’s fine. But the people complaining have been in NH and everyone S of the Pike is trying to tell us it’s been warm and nice. lol
  15. It’s been warm, but again it’s heavily biased on the mins…especially up here. The local coop is +2 on the highs and +9 on the mins. Precip and clouds have been AN up here as well. This time of year, perception changes based on sunshine. A 58/32 sunny day is more appealing than 65/45 and clouds/rain.
  16. The FMH-1. Enjoy. https://www.icams-portal.gov/resources/ofcm/fmh/FMH1/fmh1_2019.pdf
  17. All tulips all the time. Good luck. Enjoy all of the 70s.
  18. Yeah flashes…continuous “CONS” is >6.
