A couple of convective mesolows…like tiny pimples on Chris Farley’s ass. I see a SE barb to the NW side of one of them. But yeah, I’d expect the cold to fight tough over the deep interior.
Yeah as modeled right now it's a Phin jack (New Eng)...but yeah many days to go. This is a great setup for him...moist E flow into the cold dome and then crashing against that E slope terrain.
We actually got a little sun here the past couple of hours. It didn't do much other than brighten the sky...still 26.7F. Hopefully tomorrow can finally get above freezing ahead of the shallow cold front.
Yeah...as strong as that southern system is the northern stream looks just as potent. It's like 2 huge planets on the same thread of space-time and when they get close enough they just want to go binary.
Yeah...that's where I've been leaning. Create as much space from the trailing northern streamer that you can before it dives in and they interact. It's going to hook northward eventually...gotta gain as much longitude as we can before it does.
I'm good. Occasional coughing/phlegm and general weakness, but I'm a lot more spry compared to the last 6 days. It just feels like muscle atrophy, but I'll get that back. The wife is the one struggling right now, but we'll pull her through.
My freaking high was 18F today. Everyone south of me was 30s and 40s and probably had peeks of sun. Just overcast and frigid here like every other goddamn day.
The last 2 weeks have been neverending darkness, neverending cold, and now neverending COVID and there's no sign of it getting any better anytime soon. If I had a ****ing groundhog right now I'd drive over a ****ing cliff with it.
