The Stein has come, to say dry air
To pray for rain, to pray for pears
The time has come, a fact's a fact
Must irrigate, to keep it wet
How can we dance with a dewless mornin'?
How can we sleep while our lawns are burnin'?
The GFS lost the Tuesday torch. It's been really overaggressive with some of these backdoors in the extended. It used to be that if a global picked up on a hint of one you could almost guarantee it'd come to fruition. Now the GFS tries to accelerate any westward trending seagull fart back to ALB.
I could name a bunch of countries I'd feel less safe being in, but yeah, we can do a lot better. Although what's happening in Ukraine does give me a little pause.
Mine haven't reached that caliper yet although I do have a wild one in the back woods that's a good 2-3" diameter now and beginning to fissure on the bark...so we'll see how it does.
Most of mine are from here:

For sure. Definitely not a summer weekend. GFS trended a bit warmer, but Euro trended cooler and added the clouds and precip. Euro def caving more. GFS is still miserable on Monday too.
I think those who fogged up this morning are the ones still struggling with the maritime taint. We’ll fully mix it out as the SW gradient increases ahead of the cold fropa. Pushing 80° with sun so I’m not complaining.
Down to 60° here this morning. Had to turn the window fan down in the middle of the night. The hot stretch here is going to end up being just an afternoon.
