I gotchya. But drizzle and rain are defined by droplet size. Drizzle is less than 0.5mm and rain is 0.5mm or greater. So if you were getting giant drops it was simply light rain (-RA) or a light rain shower (-SHRA).

Yeah I have a trail cam that I use near the run. This is from my stardot backyard cam that saves images every 20s for timelapses…not an up close shot with motion sensor triggering. So it is what it is.

Really? I thought it was pretty good for IR from a distance. Looks cat like with a bushy tail. We have historically had more greys than reds here, but it’s been awhile.

It’s like saying deep winter is done for on 2/25 when the ensembles look AN and climo starts climbing rapidly. We can still get some cold and snow, but we’re onto transition season and not in the abyss any longer.

Yeah we will be hitting 70s and 80s right into October. Some here get very insecure when they start losing their 70+ dews.

Deep summer is on life support after next weekend…maybe after this Wed if the gfs op is right. Still plenty of nice weather and occasional dews to go, but we’re reaching the point where the dew downs greatly outweigh the 2 ply days.
