  1. Nope, you Metro Boston.  I don’t even consider places like Foxboro SE MA.  S of the 128 Belt and more or less East of RT 24 is SE MA, down to the Canal.

I'm a mile south of 128 and a half mile east of 24, so I just sneak in.

  2. Second morning in a row with lows in mid 30s in Manchester UK. Yesterday I was in the Lorenzo cone, but now it looks like just a little rain and wind. Ireland may get a good storm, but it fizzles fast after that.

Youtube is good if you like sports and cable channels as well.  It doesn't have NFL Redzone or the NFL Network but you can watch those OTA if you just follow one local team.  If you want those in addition to what YouTube TV has, Fubo TV has those channels for $55/mo.

Yeah, Redzone and the NFL Network are about the only things missing for me.  Youtube is supposed to be adding local PBS stations this year, but we can get those now with the antenna and most of the content is on the PBS app on our Roku stick.  I also pay for the NBC Sports Soccer add on, but I think it is only $50 a year and well worth it!  Glad we cut the cord.  Dumped the land line at the same time.

Anyone using indoor antenna for digital TV? Cable is nuts, looking to get out

We have a digital antenna for backup, but last year we dumped cable for youtube tv for $45 a month.  Think it is $50 now.  Tons of channels.  Lots of other streaming options out there as well.  We are very happy with it!

Maybe, I personally hope not, I want to watch my Patriots play their games this season.  Anyways, power being out is not a good or fun thing.  I just lost power on July 23rd from the EF-1 tornado, and we didn't have it for a day, just a day, and it was the worst feeling in the world.  Not again.

Seriously?  Not having power for a day was the worst feeling in the world?

I'm big on sports and i don't remember which of the two it was but would not be able to get some of the channels i watch if i remember correctly, Should be able to eliminate a couple of the cable boxes by downloading the spectrum app and going Roku tv or the stick as well, I want to add another tv to a different part of the house and now will be able to stream to it without running cables.

Here are the sports channels that are included in my area with youtube tv. I also added the NBC Sports Gold Soccer package so I don't miss any of the Premier League matches that aren't on NBCSN.

    ACC Network
    BTN
    CBS Sports Network
    ESPN
    ESPN2
    ESPNews
    ESPNU
    FS1
    FS2
    Golf Channel
    MLB Network
    NBA TV
    NBC Sports Boston
    NBCSN
    New England Cable News
    New England Sports Network
    New England Sports Network Plus
    Olympic Channel
    SEC Network
    Tennis Channel

Yeah, I looked into live streaming with Roku and Youtube tv but that comes with caveats too as far as what you could get for channels, Plus, you need to have devices equipped with the apps or you can use a stick, But the internet was still going to be the issue for me, Funny once i called direct to cancel the last thing the girl says to me if you ever want to come back we have some real good pkgs for returning customers, Where was that for the current ones?

We dumped our cable and land line last year and switched to youtube tv using a roku stick.  Very happy with the change, and youtube tv has lots of channels.  Also saving about $70 per month even though we bumped up to a higher internet speed.  We added a wifi enhancer since the tv is a few rooms away from the router and that has really helped boost the signal.

  8. Definitely not as oppessive as yesterday was.  Low 90s still but dews are dropping into the mid 60s as opposed to the low 70s.
Still 84/75 at Chatham with other temps near 90 in the area. Still drenched from 17 mile bike ride. I hate the dews!!!
