Is there clothing involved?
Probably not necessary with the warm late January sun angle tanning the napes!

Day 8 EURO has a upper 970s SLP over extreme NW ME lol
I'm guessing it didn't take a roundabout route thru the North Atlantic to get there.

Down to 26 in Randolph. Never thought I would be happy to see sleet.

Yeah, your older. I started with Mr Magoo. Loved Dick Tracy and the watch he'd wear that was a phone. Thought that would be so cool
I'm 64 (65 in May), and I grew up on Top Cat, Rocky & Bullwinkle, Beany & Cecil, and so many other great cartoons! Can't believe we really have Dick Tracy watches now. Oh yeah, I used to be so scared by Mr. Magoo's Christmas Carol.

There is some strange white dust-like substance blowing around downtown Boston this morning. Anybody know what this might be and what is causing it?

Gentlemen, while on my morning truffle shuffle I was witness today to a most curious natural phenomenon, which I want to pass along. It seems that the remnants of yestereen's rainfall have developed a crust of sorts in the postprandial hours. Indeed, the standing puddles of water appear to have transitioned from a liquid phase to a hard one. I must say I stopped short in abject wonderment to observe said phenomenon and found that this hard-water was both cold to the touch and devilishly slippery. Somewhere in the deepest pockets of memory something familiar in me stirred, some remnant of winters of yore suspended, but what it was I could not say; but I decided then and there to make a thorough investigation into the matter when I returned home. Well, my research has been most illuminating. It would seem that, in a brief period during peak winter climatology, lasting no longer than the twinkling of an eye, the mercury in southern New England may fall to such hyperborean lows as to allow liquid water to transition into a new and rare state called "ice". Gentlemen, I propose to embark on a series of experiments to test this miraculous substance, which I believe may bring about a revolution in the fields of mixology, and stick-wielding winter sports. I shall pass along the particulars in due course should you decide to invest in my new venture.
Yours faithfully and sincerely,
Hoth, Weenie Emeritus
Fake News! Next thing you know, you will be telling us that such things can actually fall from the sky and coat the earth! Balderdash!

Ground was coated here too, but very little, if any of it was snow. Temp held at about 38 or 37 for the whole event. Was fun watching the pellets roll down the roof. Should have gotten some video. My friend said it’s 33 and snowing with the ground coated in Whitman.

Heavy graupel showers rolling through. I've now had more graupel than snow this winter.

I enjoyed the match from a footballing perspective, but would've enjoyed it more if that Stone's clearance off Ederson's hands rolled another 1.12 cm farther into the net...
It would be amazing if 1.12 cm ended up deciding the Premier League this season. But 1.12 is quite a bit . . . it is more snow than I have so far in meteorological winter!

0.00" here as well. This includes rain and snow.
I think we might have had 0.0000000001 of rain, but that could be a little high.

When is this supposed to start?

Agreed. Going to be tough to reel in Liverpool, but nearly impossible if we lost today. Was trying to watch at work, but looking forward to watching replay without stress.Great game. This was actually my prediction to my former boss, who is a big City fan. I knew it was going to be a tall task and City would play with a chip on their shoulder. I take comfort in the fact that it was such a tight game and Liverpool still has a 4 pt lead.
