Know Nate well. Great album
Back in the day (early 1970s), there was rock that sounded a whole lot more country that what passes for country these days . . . Gram Parsons and Emmylou Harris . . .

Yeah, a lot of the time it's not even showing up on radar but it just doesn't stop. Impressive event around here. Wind hasn't been terrible, but a bunch of small branches down. You’re over double than me. Impressive. Sheet rain ftw

Up to 2.75 now on the day. Probably close to 3.5 since it started yesterday.

I think it's just land/sea covergence with help of the terrain. I've only had like 1.1" Most of the rain is to my SW.
I'm guessing I'm probably just a few miles west of you. About a mile south of 128 and half mile east of 24. Hardly any letup in the rain all day.

Radar looks like the rain keeps building right over my head. Something to do with the flow over the Blue Hills? Up to almost 1.9 since midnight, so well over 2 inches since it started yesterday.

1.14 just since midnight. Mud season is off to a great start.

Giant flakes now. Grassy surfaces covered and starting to stick on patio. Fun for a little while longer. Down to 33.

Down to 35 and if you look real carefully you can see a little coating on some grassy areas. Everything else just wet. Looks like a real wet snow with flakes fall really fast.

39 F and first flakes arrived about 10 minutes ago in Randolph. Pretty quickly gone from flurries to steady light snow. Looking forward to not shoveling the driveway!

64 and cloudy here south of Boston. A little sun and I think we make 70! First robins in the back yard today.

Well at least we got to see a few patches of snow in England. Most I have seen in about 2 months.

In London to watch Manchester City at Wembley today. Went to watch a match at Fulham yesterday and got hit by a 15 minute wind blown graupel storm that blew across the Thames. At least I got to see something frozen and white falling from the sky for the first time in a while.

But at least it is nice out! 64F* at Logan and 65F** at OWD. I'll be looking for the redwings on the train ride home.

Clearly you haven’t let the run finish first and no right minded soul a) believed it verbatim and b) thinks or wants a great solution for like 60 consecutive runs anyway.
Guess I should have included in my response. a) I know that, it was sarcasm; b) I know that, it was sarcasm; c) is your sarcasm detector in need of an upgrade?

Gfs has that trash Tuesday event as the last event of the month (with say .25 QPF ) mercifully .
Then on to Morch. This has been an abomination and ya maybe we see a bowling ball in March , but I’ll take the milder morch temps .
So the monster storm it had at the end of the month is gone? I'm shocked, shocked I say!

The odd thing about cold rain in London is that it feels right. When I was in London and Manchester (my sister studied at U of Manchester for a while), it added to the vibe to have it like 48F with -RN. It fits all your preconceived notions of what English life is, haha. Like being in a movie, walking down a narrow cobblestone street and ducking into a small pub for a pint to get out of the rain.
I've been lucky a few times and had some spectacular weather, but you are correct that the cool, misty, drizzly days are so quintessentially English. Definitely taking a risk going over in late February/Early March. Did you get out to the Peak District when you were in Manchester? 45 minute train ride from Manchester to Edale, get off the train and it is a 10 minute walk to the start of the Pennine Way . . . and of course you pass by 2 pubs along the way!

Going to celebrate Liverpool's title?
Hopefully to celebrate City's third straight Carabao Cup Title at Wembley! Also going to the Manchester Derby the following weekend. Oh yeah, congrats on finally winning the Premier League after 30 years! Just kidding, they've had an incredible season. Cheers!

I honestly don’t kno how any snow lovers are alive and breathing in SE Areas
this is London/ Seattle weather
at least 2012 had a beautiful sunny summer stretch in February
Heading to Manchester and London at the end of the month, so this is just getting me ready for what's in store! Maybe I'll get lucky and find an early English spring, if there is such a thing.

Heard a little pinging during the night, and then got up at 5:20 to 33F and rain with a wee bit of slush on the grass. So typical for this winter. Give me a blizzard or give me a torch . . . but I'm not expecting either.
