I dunno. Seems like they are few and far between. And mostly in eastern mass. I live in central mass and there's not any around me that I know of. And 4 hours each day? That doesn't work for a lot of people. We got ours at a CVS minute clinic, and I took my daughter to get a rapid test back in October at Carewell in Auburn. It was $160.
There is a lot around here, but not sure about other areas of the state. 2:00 to 6:00 Monday thru Friday and 9:00 to 1:00 on Saturday. Mostly staffed by volunteers who work with a medical firm that does the actual testing. I believe registration is required, but if possible they do take unregistered drive-ins.

Most testing sites cost a lot too. Our tests were $130 a piece. So we spent $520 bucks to get us back to work and back to school.
I had 2 employees travel over T-day and they both got a test to get back to work and they paid $130 and $150. I'm not sure where all this free testing is
Lots of free testing here in Massachusetts. My wife volunteers two days a week at the town testing site in Randolph. The town has just expanded from twice a week to 6 days a week; 4 hours each day. Today is one of her days, so she has the rain gear ready.

On a similar topic, I’ve tried those impossible burgers. Had it a couple of years ago. Not sure if it’s better made since then, but you can’t be the real thing. It was better than I thought...but can’t replace beef.
We get some free range red meat from a farm, but we have also been getting some excellent plant based burgers at Wegmans. Easily the best we have tried, and absolutely no comparison to things like boca burgers, etc.

Anyone having a Thanksgiving dinner this year ?
Just my wife and I, and it looks like I will be grilling turkey breast in the rain. At least it won't be a cold rain. Normally we'd be going to my sister-in-law's in New Hampshire, but we all decided to stick with immediate family.

19 for the low here. First time in the teens this season. Grilled last evening when it was about 24 and it felt frigid. Not ready for this yet after last week's 70s.

Our oaks are stubborn, but at least the leaves finally turned brown last week. Always a race to sneak if they come down before the final town pickup in December.

Felt and heard a rumble. Thought it was a low flying plane. That's so 2020!

We did the baggies with 3 pieces set on a table in the driveway. We were prepared for up to 60. 55 bags left.Same here. A lot of houses were giving out “baggies” of candy. Basically ziploc bags with 4-5 pieces in each one instead of the usual one or two you’d get at a house.
Also, an unusually high number of houses gave out full sized candy bars this year. I think a lot people were feeling bad for the kids with all the crap they’re going through with school.

Normally we get 50 to 100. Tonight we had 5; all really small and with parents.

Tons of acorns on the ground here too, and they seem to be falling like bombs this year . . . loud and hard. Need to wear a hat (maybe it should be a helmet) when I am outside grilling. 2020, Attack of the Killer Acorns, why not!

Had internet last evening, but woke up to widespread outage in the area this morning. Makes working from home just a bit of a challenge trying to do everything on my phone.

There are some on Amazon, but they are charging twice normal retail. Have to do some research on the sellers.I’m looking for one too. Some are around, but it’s luck.Sent from my SM-T510 using Tapatalk

Thanks. Might try to find a heater, but they are scarce.

This one wasn't 2 foot snow total like some of the other ones, but man, that was the most brutal cold I've ever experienced in a moderate to heavy snow event. IT is a lot different getting these temps in saturated air with wind than calm nights or even dry CAA windy cold temps. This stuff literally sliced through you like a sharp razor.
Remember it well. Night time storm if I recall correctly. Snowing with temps in the 20s and then the front came thru and we dropped to near zero in less than an hour. Pixie dust blowing everywhere.

Does it work well? We visited friends last night who have one of the taller propane heaters, but we like the look of these better. Trying to prepare for socially distanced patio dinners with friends as it gets cooler.
