    * WHAT...Snow expected. Total snow accumulations of 2 to 4 inches. Winds gusting as high as 40 mph.

    * WHERE...McKean, Elk, Clearfield and Cambria Counties.

    * WHEN...From 1 PM Monday to 10 AM EST Tuesday.

    * IMPACTS...Plan on slippery road conditions. The hazardous conditions could impact the morning or evening commute.

    * ADDITIONAL DETAILS...The periods of heaviest snowfall and travel impacts are expected between 8 PM Monday and 8 AM Tuesday as temperatures drop below freezing.

    PRECAUTIONARY/PREPAREDNESS ACTIONS...

    I didn't ask anyone to leave with the exception of staying in their boundaries. 
    I did. Screw em. I can appreciate the opinion of those who think otherwise. I can appreciate snownut's appreciation for weather reports from East Nantmeal, as it is closer to him than say, Ridgway, and I have said on many occasions that folks like TugHillMatt are more than welcome here, but the trolls, they can go.

    Here's my thing. Maybe I'm becoming the crotchety "GET OFF MY LAWN" old guy here, or maybe I'm becoming the regionalist, but I don't post in the MA thread, which believe me, I've been tempted to go after some of those babies, and I don't even visit the Philadelphia, Pittsburgh, or NE forums because why would I?

    If YBY doesn't receive EAS alerts from State College, PA, you have about as much business posting to this forum as I have of posting to Penthouse forum.

    This sub forum, until about two months ago, was a pretty solid community where a core dozen or two of us enjoyed discussing the weather, with other things sprinkled in here and there. And then the douchebags rolled in and lately, I want to poke my eyes with straightened coat hangers every time the weather is slightly above normal. Probably an irrational reception to something I'm looking at on my phone, and I can just as simply put the damned thing down, but why should that have to be the option?

    I've been a member of this community since the Eastern US WX site, and was on Wunderground before that. I don't feel like I should have to put the phone down just because we don't have a janitor willing to take out the trash.

    But I feel myself getting more and more wanting to engage in the nonsense. And I promise you idiots, I still have a few flame wars left in me. And I fight fire with nuclear arms.

    Sorry for my involvement, but TCC came in here with good, honest facts directly from the NWS about the accuracy of their ASOS and got met with two nasty responses. I didn’t feel that particular post was any more agenda-driven or irrelevant to this region than Chesco’s daily summaries from southeastern PA. 
    I agree. I think the fucking lot of you should get the ban.

    Good news if correct. I much prefer cold vs. warm leading into Christmas. If it ain't going to be white, at least let it feel festive. 
    This. I remember that December when it was warmer on Christmas Eve than the Fourth of July and this was back when I still used social media, and this was pre-2016 social media, and the overall mood throughout the entire holiday season was putrid and to a person, everyone blamed the weather.

    In your own "unique" way....you're doing just fine pal.
    Truth told, I'd LOVE to see you doing the weather for the Brits....
    As somebody who is of 100,000% Welsh lineage, I caught their affinity for a certain word that is frowned upon here. I use it. They'd love it.

    And I use the "c-word," too...
