  1. 9F here. This met winter will wind up being the coldest since 2014-2015 in SNE
  2. Yesterday they were lasting around 35 minutes. It shoots the snow 50’. I did have it on turbo mode so that probably drained it more quickly.
  3. It is the 24” self propelled 2 stage. So far I love the power. Still miss the steering of my old Crapsman. But holy cow does it throw the snow. Way further than the old one. get extra batteries. That was the issue yesterday. The density of the snow drained em. I had to swap them out a couple of times before I could finish.
  4. We had a ton of wind around 10:30–1AM. Then it settled down a bit. Howling again but not as bad as last night
  5. Yep. Sometimes you got to play with fire. This week looks pretty cold for now. Changes be coming.
  6. A pattern change might bring some warmth, but could also change the flow and maybe we can score a coastal or two.
  7. I added in the additional 1.5” back end stuff. 7.75” storm total 39.2 season total.
  8. That extra happy ending stuff brought the storm total here to 7.75”. Biggest event of the season. It really pleasant through much of it though. Some flurries now with the winds.
  9. Some of the strongest gusts I’ve had in a long time just came through. Reports of trees down on my street.
  10. Definitely high impact. Lots of places were closed.
  11. At least the snow will make my driveway a bit less slippery.
  12. 6.25" First 5.25" were snow. Sleet and ice have added up. 37.70" for the season so far
  13. It handled moving it. But the density must have been straining the motors. Had to swap and recharge the batteries a couple of times.
  14. Not much ice here. Maybe 0.1” accretion on tree branches. A little sagging.
  15. Winds are starting to pick up. Very little icing here.
  16. Town plow just made a couple of passes. Huge boulders of snow at the end of my driveway so I had to hit it with round 2. that Ego snowblower can really throw it. But the batteries deplete quickly in this stuff.
