  1. It happens here in Mass too. People have given my son shit at his work. There was some dude not wearing his in the grocery store I use this morning. Looked like a toolbag. I kept my distance. sigh. We could squash this fairly quickly if people would be considerate
  2. Leominster State Forest in Fitchburg. Crow Hill swimming area. I haven’t heard of Dunn’s having this issue
  3. Yup. There is a state forest near me where we used to take our students for a field trip in past years. It has a swimming area that is closed now due to a toxic bloom. Fun times
  4. Yeah. I saw Blizzy’s post in the other thread. Wow
  5. Saw that. When was the last Maine shark attack, never mind a fatal one
  6. We managed a 90.1F here which is nice. KFIT maxed at 93 I believe.
  7. I think the daily record is 98. It was 95 at the last hourly
  8. Outbreak in Chatham MA due to a party. https://www.wcvb.com/amp/article/chatham-cape-cod-house-party-coronavirus-cluster-13-cases-testing-monday/33417760 What a spectacular (if not warm) day today

  11. BOX expects 95 there so 94 wouldn’t shock me. Haze might tamp down high 90s
  12. Yeah. My FB is exploding with sunset pics. My property is all enclosed by trees so it is hard to get good pics
  13. I’m thinking they plateaued which would be great. It was heading in a really bad direction for a bit. It is also a very large state with lots of urban pockets
  14. ACCATT (all cold chicken all the time) 78F/61 attm. Warm day incoming.
  15. 64 here. Glad I don’t live there If you are talking about tonight/tomorrow night yeah. Will be toasty. Anytime I don’t drop below 70 at night it’s gonna be a scorcha
  16. Managed 85 here. Nice day to spend in the pool after cutting the grass BOX has me getting a legit heat wave on the point n click but I doubt that verifies.
  17. I would prefer to be back in front of my students in person, even if only half are there at a time. But I have not seen any plans that would really keep students, families or staff safe without tons of $$$ being poured in. Oh well. Off we go
  18. Schools and college openings will prob be a big contributor. I was impressed with the steps my son’s university was taking (twice weekly testing on site for starters) but he is staying home this fall. The public schools will be a shitshow No funding and impossible plans
