  1. 82.0F high here. Nice late spring day. Big AN departure. Pollen sucks though.
  2. My bedroom cooled to 70F when I went to bed and it was 65 in there when I got up. My downstairs was a bit chilly
  3. If it gets hot I will. My house is 74 right now. It will be in the low 60s by morning
  4. March is what tipped the scales. That was warm and dry. If it wasn’t going to snow at least it was pleasant. Late April and early May were garbage. I think I had 8+ straight days with at least some rain
  5. I think he has been right for March,April and so far in May... For ORH they were +4.4 for March +1.9 for Napril so far +0.4 for May but that will climb quite a bit for the next several days
  6. I wish you luck. Be ready to pull the trigger once it is worth $500? $5000? I wouldn't know when to get off
  7. Cannibis infused seltzers? That’s a thing?
  8. Kids are gross in general. They won’t catch the ‘vid from a pair of scissors or a beaker
  9. We are thinking of doing snorkeling along a fissure in Iceland this summer. That’s pretty much what you gotta wear
  10. I’ve been able to do close to a dozen “hands on” lab activities since February. When we were in hybrid mode the number of kids per class was low so I could more easily do the labs (washing equipment etc in between groups). When they all came back it was harder. A ton of modifications. This will allow more kids to do it.
  11. One good update. With the Mass restriction rollback students are now allowed to share materials. This will make some of my final labs of the year much more doable.
  12. Thir fire department was always a hoot to deal with. When I did haz waste we would occasionally have to do remote openings of outdated chemicals and their HASP would be intense. Nice guys to work with but oof...
  13. This year was the first in three years that we are getting a refund. Prior to the two years we paid, I had never owed, always got something back. Weird. Kids definately make a difference. My son did his taxes last night, basically on his own. In prior years I eaither did it for him or helped him a bunch. He had three jobs in 2020. He got a much smaller refund than he anticipated so I looked. His biggest employer didn't take out any taxes...lol. So I said, "son, you are getting back everything you paid".
  14. Has business been getting somewhat back to normal for you guys? When I have been dining out I have been trying to eat as much seafood as possible (since I am bad at prepping some of it)
  15. The model I’m looking at folds up to store as well. Lol. I found that amusing. The batteries are pretty pricey though. But cheaper than gas in the long run
  16. This guy has some good vids about finding stuff and returning it to the owner in many cases
  17. I was talking with some of my students last week about their phones. Not too long ago almost every student who had a phone had a screen that was partly or hugely cracked. Almost none are now.
  18. There are some youtubers I occasionally watch that make a living getting stuff off the bottom of rivers and lakes. Shocking at the number of phones they recover after months underwater that still work. Thunder here
  19. Anyone have an electric lawn mower? Our old Crapsman is about done and looking to get something new. Usually takes around an hour to do our front and back... Considering the EGO 21" self propelled
  20. But in all seriousness that is a possibility. This has been discussed on here before.
  21. Dr Phin charges low rates for the first consult
  22. I’m fine with that. Not breaking anything Not tearing up soccer fields. Very few motorized ones.
