  1. SRI beaches for me today Lots of seaweed though.
  2. Not sure if one can truly prepare for a Cat 3 in SNE. You can get a generator and some canned food. Unless you want to go totally doomsday. It would suck for weeks or longer if a ‘38 Redux hit
  3. September is usually very summerlike in SNE. The only big change is daylight. I personally enjoy Sept and October quite a bit. November and April and get lost
  4. Local PWS to me has 0.53” for Aug so far and 2.63” for July. I think both are a little low. They recorded 0.0” yesterday when I had around 0.15” in a localized downpour. This has happened a couple of times
  5. Lots of TwitterWx talk about tropics waking up.
  6. I’ve only ever seen them once. In Lowell of all places in the late 1980s Some legit rain here now.
  7. Hopefully this will get out of the way and lead to some clear skies Thurs night. Decent aurora sighting chances for New England
  8. My daughter was supposed to perform outdoors this evening (under a really nice pavilion). The director moved the show indoors due to the rain. Oops
  9. Serious question… how long are marijuana plants “fragrant “?). There is an outdoor grow place near us and it is ripe
  10. I think he was tipping the cap to you.
  11. 0.25” for MBY would be appreciated.
  12. To bust this drought it will take more than 0.4” over 24 hours. Places need 4-6” over two weeks or something akin to that.
  13. He had loads of them in folder and binders just awaiting the proper time
  14. GFS qpf of 0.75” even out this way.
  15. We get C-130s in 2s or 3s pretty routinely. They head towards a beacon in Templeton and loop around Wachusett I guess. Neat to see but the C5s are special
  16. I think (for my area at the time (Foxboro)) it was virtually impossible to get a good measurement due to the long duration winds. Our VW microbus was completely buried though
  17. As I was leaving my Springfield training last week it was very cold to see a couple of very low flying C-5As or whatever they are called. Those are biggley
  18. I still watching for the messenger shuffle on those high res models. Hoping that doesn’t happen
  19. My mother in law still has a bunch of those she uses regularly. She’s 90 A couple of years ago we partially cleaned out her garage and cellar. We got rid of a few and she had some still in plastic wrapping that had never been opened /used
  20. Good luck forecasting using the models this week
