  1. Hadn’t seen a temp probability map posted before. Probs of -10F or colder
  2. My “pack” isn’t so deep. Just a few inches. But it should make it to the deep freeze.
  3. Should still be snowcover even here in SNE
  4. I will buy you a 4 pack of Julius (or whatever you prefer) at Treehouse Charlton if I don’t get at least 5 more inches of snow by April 15
  5. Lots of places in SNE in the lower 50s today Lots of sunshine. My road is slowly appearing
  6. Drove past Wachusett just now (daughter was winter hiking with her school group). Lots were 100% full, lines were nuts. We had been considering going later in the afternoon... no thanks
  7. It can snow in negative numbers this winter
  8. There has to be a gummy that helps with this.
  9. The previous 2 or 3 seasons below zero has been rare, but I still achieve it at least 1 time. This year maybe not. Before this stretch is was fairly routine to hit -5 to -15F with a smattering of even colder (my lowest has been -19 since I've paid attention)
  10. I'm not sure if I have ever had a winter with 0 temps below 0F since I've lived here. Good shot of that this season. Lowest so far was 3F. I doubt I get below that later this week for the "cold" snap
  11. Yup. Chester MA holds that record and the flawed high as well. interesting dates and temps in the article but a bunch can be tossed https://thegardnerscene.com/f/remembering-the-frigid-times-of-yesteryear?fbclid=IwAR0JFoUipj0BiUyXhJwfsd3Z5_O9ftEqWL__fkEtiW7Ui7lV1pTlAwk_1CI
  12. Any good data on mid January 1957? Just read an article pertaining to my area and some of the temps reported were rather unbelievable. -56F in Winchendon MA? Ain’t happenin’
  13. But we were still basking in the afterglow of 2014-2015 (well, most of the board was)
  14. Would be cool to see just because it is the point where C and F are the same
  15. Still some isolated outages. Those should be done soon.
