So one brings swfe and one brings coastals? Both have nice HP to our north but you can see some ridging building into the SE which is the scary part from last year. The the western trough doesn't look intense and tucked back.
I don’t understand the nuances up here like you do. I was speaking more generally, and I probably get caught up on the emotions of the people to our south. But the tenor just a few days ago was that it was gonna get quite warm between Christmas and New Year’s.
Really nice to see how more time than not, in the general sense, things have trended better as we get closer. No real soggy warmup next week and then a threat at least and maybe a great pattern
I know the warm-up has been muted for the week between Christmas and the years, but is there a cold air source? A scooter high or something? That is my birthday so it would be special.
He’s probably away from the river or at a somewhat higher elevation. The difference is between 300 feet and 600 feet and less than a mile or pretty spectacular in the Merrimack Valley.
I am older than you and in just about the best shape of my adult life. For anybody interested, read Peter Attia's latest book on longevity. Not quacky and very practical.
Thank you. You are kind to jump in here. I assume it will be mostly snow, and I hope some combination of moderate band and good snow growth gets me north of 2" Seems possible.
Ah. front fields mostly melted out because they get good sun all day. back fields 1-3 inches. Woods 3-5 inches. A fresh snowpack means the twins can go into the jet sled and I have 20 less pounds to carry in my backpack lol. Very important!
