    I am all for snow. But I hate getting hopes up for nothing. This was supposed to be a non event and it looks like it will not be. I am going back to I hate making threat threads so earlier until there is something concrete. If this was a threat in the past, the threat thread would have started tomorrow. I am all about the purity of the thread.

    Look at the SW over Arkansas you can tell it’s north

    I am not trying to be DD. But most of these types of overrunning events usually favor central PA. I have seen it so many times when we are supposed to get the heaviest snows, it shifts to the north at the last minute.

    Gotcha... I thought you wanted to start a threat thread for the 20th. Do you really want to use up all the luck on a storm that is not coming back.

    Not really surprised. The heights are the exact same from the 6z to 12z at 84

    Yeah but the SW is more north over TX/OK on the H5 at 66

    H5 at 48 you can see that the SE ridge is stronger. It is just barely... but we cannot even have barely at this point.

    GFS keeps speeding up. My guess is it will be more north.

    If it doesn’t snow. This should be your last threat thread. Now I know why moderators quit.

    If with what the GFS is showing. There should still be no thread for this one yet. Should have waited until at Saturday. This one is a no go for me. I am more interested in the later period. Threat threads used to mean something. Now they are a dime a dozen.
