    So if you look at the UKIE and GFS H5 at H30... they look pretty similar to each other... so why is the surface precipitation so different?

    This right here... You can see it on the H5 at H48 on the 18z... on the 12z it is still closed off... but no earth shattering changes... will be interesting to see the 18z Euro and the 0z suite.

    Yep LWX is still weary of the southern track to make the call to a WSW for the Northern tier of counties in MD.
