  1. Here is where Ghislaine Maxwell was hiding out in Bradford NH. I am guessing it will be back on the market soon. https://www.neren.com/listing/338-East-Washington-Rd/5cb0d652e323549dd12f5e9a#local-info
  2. They filmed a Hallmark movie here in Branford a few years ago as well. They had the same fake snow everywhere when I went into town. It was really cool to see. Bill Belichick was downtown filming a Subway commercial here yesterday.
  3. New Orleans showing how the dews are done..
  4. The visible satellite loop is even cooler. https://weather.cod.edu/satrad/?parms=subregional-New_England-02-24-1-100-1&checked=map&colorbars=
  5. One was hit and killed on the Meritt Parkway in CT back in 2011. It was traced with its DNA and scat to the Black Hills in South Dakota. Mountain lion killed in Connecticut prowled east from S. Dakota https://www.reuters.com/article/us-mountainlion/mountain-lion-killed-in-connecticut-prowled-east-from-s-dakota-idUSTRE76Q5ZE20110727
  6. Anti-gravity propulsion. It's real and people are finally witnessing it.
  7. Do you have a link for hours of 70+ dews? I'm on the shoreline and it's been endless 70+ dews here.
  8. Not sure. Here is BDL and the link. http://mesonet.agron.iastate.edu/plotting/auto/?_wait=no&q=76&network=CT_ASOS&station=BDL&season=jul&varname=dwpf&year=1893&hours=0-23&dpi=200&_fmt=png&_cb=1
  9. Special one. On track to beat out 99....
  10. Was probably a UFO or UAP as they are now classified. Has anyone else been following the massive increase in sightings lately? The pentagon officially released the leaked fighter jet videos saying they have no clue what they are. There were tons of sightings last night in NYC and New England.
  11. Model FTXS12LVJU. Are you saying run it in auto mode? I've been running it on cool mode, medium fan speed. Remote temp setting is at 64, low as it will go. I found mine run best at the medium or high fan speed. I never use the auto fan setting. Try setting the fan to high and I would set the remote to 66-68. That works best for most wall units in cooling mode. If it's too noisy set it to Medium. At full output your unit is rated at 23 seer but when it's running at low speeds it is probably running at 40+ seer. A typical central air unit is 10-16 seer for comparison.
  12. Lots of windows with southwest exposure, but at this time of year the sun goes over the house. Only late in day do we get some sun through west side windows. Put it on yesterday at 3pm. Inside temp was 80f. By 9pm, room was only down to 76f. Left it on all night. Room temp is 71; same as outside. Meanwhile ouu master bed unit got temp down to 64f. I took the IR gun to both and they are both blowing out 58f air. Leave it on all day. These units are designed to run at low speeds nonstop and will ramp up the fans and compressor as needed. The efficiencies of them at low speed are incredible. Keep in mind if you are using the remote the temperature setting is based off the return air sensor on the top of the unit. You may need to set it much lower on the remote as the air 8-10 ft up is significantly warmer. What Fujitsu model did you get?
  13. It could be undersized but try leaving the unit on all day. Maybe turn it on early in the morning. If it was off and you turned it on in the afternoon during peak heat it probably won't be able to cool it quickly. The way they operate is they run nonstop but will run at a very low speed. On low speed my units will only use 150-200 watts. How much sun exposure do you have? That has a huge effect on your cooling load. I have a 12k unit in a similar size space that I just leave on and it has no issue keeping up.
  14. Try the dry setting if it has one. Its incredible how much water drains outside mine when it's in dry mode. They can regulate the compressor and blower to maximize dehumidification.
  15. Bridgeport 79 and New Haven 78 at 5 am...
  16. COVID is probably having a big impact on water usage. My wife who works from home and walks the neighborhood often said there are tons of kids outside playing in sprinklers and slip and slides.
  17. Here comes the water issues. Unprecedented increase in water consumption around here. As a result of the protracted hot and dry weather conditions, and more residents being home due to the COVID-19 pandemic, over the past few days alone, the RWA has seen an unprecedented increase in water use and is urging its customers to use water wisely. This has caused some residents to experience intermittent discolored water. The RWA has also received reports of fire hydrants being opened illegally, we ask that people not open hydrants, as it can be dangerous and contribute to temporarily discolored water.
  18. Groton still hasn't hit 80 yet this year. 2009 was the last June with no 80's.
  19. Lol. Me too. I get all my seeds from North Atlantic Seed Co in Maine.
  20. Try some marijuana. They have specific strains that will put you right to sleep. I know tons of people that have gotten off all the synthetic sleep aids and use marijuana now. You're in Maine it's legal there.
  21. What a furnace up in Northern Canada. There are alot of 90s just south of James Bay.
