  1. In the spirit of this thread.....my man!
  2. Everyone in their staterooms lit watching model runs on their laptops while the ship goes down after raiding the bars for expensive liquor.
  3. I laughed out loud on that one.
  4. This is the funniest thread ever. We should do more fail threads like these. It does lessen the pain a little.
  5. That means SC, GA should prepare. lol
  6. Everyone loves to root for the underdog!!
  7. Perhaps we need to include brining into the model data. Ingest that brine data. All that brine may pull the snow northward.
  8. It's the trends friends. Add up the small nudges for the next 24 hours and we got snow!
  9. At least it would cut down on the confusion and false hope. lol
  10. When I asked for model porn, I thought I said a few days ago. This is not model porn from a few days ago. I just got out of a meeting and saw over 30 posts. I figured people were happy with the old stuff. Come to find out the NAM is our Pimp.
  11. Can someone post the model porn we saw 4 days ago? If we are pretending, we need some visuals.
  12. Isn't this what normal models are supposed to do? Extrapolate?
  13. I have a teacher friend who loaded up on snacks for the storm. Going to tell her to prepare to go to work all week.
  14. Apparently if we are cold, we're dry and it snows to the south of us. When we're at normal temps, we get better chances of snow but battle mixing. When we have warm winters, it's rain and nothing.
  15. We failed last spring in terms of thunderstorms. I don't recall very many severe events last spring.
  16. Huntsville, AL will get more snow than Boston on that run.
  17. It's not too late to get at least 6". I've experienced Mets having to up their totals DURING a storm. Models could say 0 and you end up with 3.
  18. Exactly. I have become increasingly frustrated with that feature. Just ask it to draw a poster with words on it. AI for weather is a great idea, but I still think we're at least a decade away from it leading the pack in accurate weather prediction.
